KinTutankhamun (King Tut)
and Ankhesenamun

King Tutankhamun, known as King Tut was pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty in Ancient Egypt, but his death marked the end of the dynasty's royal line. He ascended the throne at the age of nine until his death at around the age of nineteen. Tutankhamun, is known for his wealth and the only tomb to date to be found in near intact condition discovered during the 1922 discovery of his tomb. The discovery of his tomb is one of the most greatest discoveries of all time.

When Tutankhamun inherited the throne, he reversed Atenism (a monotheistic religion that worshipped light from the sun god or sun disk, Aten) with extensive reconstruction of restoring traditional practices. He moved the capital back to Thebes and the city of Akhetaten was abandoned. At the age of nine, shortly after he ascended the throne he married his half-sister Ankhesenamen, who was at the age of thirteen, soon after. The cause of death of King Tut is still controversial and a subject of debate till today.
